I've owned both BP and NOOB, own a genuine Day-Date 18038 and have held many genuine Day-Date 40's in Rolex boutiques, and I can see the difference clear as day. If you can't see the difference, you can't be helped. As you can see the caseshape, crystal, clasp, endlinks, lugs and caseback have a slightly difference appearance than the original.
